Our outdoor adventure team has been out on the water this week at Weir Wood Reservoir, checking out the equipment ready for our summer season of water-based activities.
We can’t wait for our learners to get started!

World Book Day – 05/03/26

On Thursday 5th March, we had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day.
The day was organised by our English Lead, Paul, who planned a number of fun activities for everyone to enjoy.
Staff dressed up as their favourite book characters, bringing stories to life and creating an exciting atmosphere throughout the day.

Valentine’s Themed Treats – 17/02/26

Our learners have been busy baking some Valentine’s themed treats this week.
They created beautiful cupcakes and heart-shaped biscuits, all carefully packaged to take home.
We are very proud of their hard work and creativity.

Animal Care Visit to Drusillas – 30/01/26

Our learners recently attended a trip to Drusillas to support their BTEC Animal Care studies.
Learners enjoyed meeting the animals and listening to an educational talk learning about habitats, diets and animal welfare, with the soft chinchilla being a clear favourite.
Our learners listened attentively, engaged well, and were polite to members of the public, representing our school brilliantly.
It was lovely to see their enjoyment throughout the day.

Philpots Wanderers – 13/01/26

A great turnout by our fantastic football team, the Philpots Wanderers. They played five high-intensity games against some formidable opponents.
Every team member gave their all and represented the school impeccably.
Two of our learners received special certificates from the tournament organisers: Player of the Match and Fair Player
It was a wonderful opportunity for our brilliant learners.
