Leavers 2024

July 4th, 2024|

As we come to the end of the Summer term, we say goodbye to our 2024 leavers who go on to further education.

On Friday 21st June we celebrated with a cream tea, music from Red Butler Music School, who visits us weekly, and an ice cream van!

Speeches took place and leavers gifts were given.

Wishing our leavers lots of luck in future!

Wakehurst Lantern Workshop

June 27th, 2024|

Our students recently took part in the Wakehurst lantern workshop which they thoroughly enjoyed.

Wakehurst is a wild botanic garden in the heart of Sussex, home to the Millennium Seed Bank, with over 500 acres of diverse landscapes and plants from across the globe, and we are very lucky to have this on our doorstep.

The framework of the lanterns is made from withies (willow stems) tied with masking tape and the covering from paper mache. The lanterns will be placed in the ground with a light underneath each one as part of the Glow Wild event later in the year.

Hickstead Showground

June 26th, 2024|

On Thursday 20th June we enjoyed a whole school trip to the All England Jumping course at Hickstead Showground.

Our students watched the showjumping and dressage and enjoyed being out in the sunshine.

It was a fantastic whole school trip and the students did the School proud with their incredible behaviour.
