Christmas Fair – 17/12/25

December 17th, 2025|

On Friday 5th December, we held our annual Christmas Fair and raised a fantastic £812 for our School Council.

We had a number of creative stalls organised by our learners and teaching staff.

These included, to name a few, The Magic Carrot Game, Guess the Name of the Teddy and Slime making.

We also had our raffle which is always very popular and supported by a number of local businesses:

Holly Miles Hair, Nutley
Reed Recruitment, Brighton

A huge thank you to them.

It was a lovely festive afternoon finished off with delicious hot chocolates and mince pies.

Ladder Tennis – 11/11/25

November 11th, 2025|

Our lower school learners have been working hard to create a new activity for our land craft site.

They learned how to use a spade, post hole digger, and a spirit level in order to set two 3-metre-long upright wooden posts into the ground.

The next step was to create a series of horizontal ‘ladder’ rungs. They did this by painting some thinner poles before adding them to the upright posts.

A drill was then used to make holes in two tennis balls and then strung them with rope to create ‘bolos’ in order to create and play their very own giant version of ‘ladder tennis’.
