Our Deputy Head, Debra, was invited to the Saddlers Company in London yesterday (13/3/23) to an Equine Assisted Forum organised by HEIR (Human Equine Interaction Register) which is a UK based register for approved equine assisted services organisations.  HEIR is the UK branch of HETI (Horses in Education and Training International).  The HEIR register offers quality assurance to the public and service users that organisations have passed a stringent vetting process and have high professional standards.  Philpots Manor School’s equine yard is run by a highly qualified, experienced and passionate team who work tirelessly to ensure excellent outcomes for our students and best practice in husbandry and welfare for our equine partners.  Debra was in very good company at the forum with representatives from across industry represented, including Alison Blackmore who runs the Changing Lives programme at the BHS (pictured with Debra), and Princess Anne.
