Advent, a time of anticipation leading up to Christmas, is a time of preparation like that parents might feel when expecting a child. It is a time when we literally, as the carol says, “Deck the hall with sprigs of holly.” The mood and beauty is really something to behold. Thank you to all who took part, singing carols, providing music, telling and listening to a story and of course to all those who walked into the spiral, lit their apple-candle and then carefully placed it amongst the greenery on their way out.
