Gordon’s class had been lucky enough to look after some chicken eggs in their classroom from a local farm.

The eggs took 21 days to hatch, staying in the incubator for 24 hours before being moved to a pen with a heated lamp while they got their feathers,which usually takes around 6 weeks.

We had a total of 12 chicks and our students have enjoyed learning how to take care of them.
