Our lower school students were lucky enough to have the use of a bumper crop of vegetables from our Philpots’ harvest this year. Using our own carrots, potatoes and onions, they have been cooking soups, roasting vegetables, baking savoury crumbles and more! Meanwhile, the BTEC students have learnt how to cook the perfect egg and use the grill safely to make cheese on toast. They finished the half-term off with apple crumble made with apples from our Philpots’ orchard.
